experience, King’s senior leadership team continues to invest time and talent to improve
patient care and partner profits.
 Albert C. Van Kirk III,
President, Chief Executive Officer. and Founder
Albert C. Van Kirk III, King’s Medical founder and majority shareholder, has more than 30 years of experience in the medical imaging and therapy field and is credited with developing numerous innovative business strategies. In the early eighties, he introduced the "fee-for-service" business model, making
CT scanners available to small and rural hospitals. King’s was also one of the first
providers of diagnostic imaging services to utilize market research and local physician marketing to increase utilization.
Prior to founding King’s Medical Group, Van Kirk held
management positions with Xerox and the Technicare Division of Johnson & Johnson. He is a graduate of Kent State University (Kent, OH).
Bob Davis, Chief Financial Officer
Bob Davis, JD, CPA, CFE, CIRA, has nearly 30 years of
financial, tax and business management and advisory service
experience with both public and privately held companies.
Mr. Davis began his career with a major public accounting
firm. Over the past 10 plus years Mr. Davis has managed or
provided advisory services to businesses in transition by
developing and implementing strategic reorganization plans.
He serves as the company Treasurer and oversees the
accounting, tax and corporate finance departments.
Mr. Davis received his B.S. in Business Administration from
West Liberty State College, West Liberty, West Virginia and
his law degree from Capital University Law School, Columbus,
Ohio. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed
attorney.
Don Kline, Vice President of Corporate Ministry
A
director and founding board member of King’s since 1981, Dr. Kline
joined King’s management team in January of 2001. His
previous experience includes 15 years as National Vice
President of Operations with Fellowship of Companies for
Christ International, based in Atlanta, GA, where he led a
ministry for CEOs and business owners. Dr. Kline also served
as a pastor for 25 years, and has established and led several
churches in Ohio.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin-Wallace
College, a Master of Divinity degree from Drew University
and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Westminster Theological
Seminary in Philadelphia.
Edward Gabbert, Vice President of Sales
Edward
Gabbert joined King's in 1997 as a King's Regional Sales
Manager. In his 10 plus years with King's Medical Group, Ed
has assisted in the development of over 30 King's Medical
partnerships and has held leadership positions within the
Sales and Operations divisions of King's. Ed has over 17
years of experience in sales and working with customers to
help identify solutions to meet their goals and objectives.
Prior to joining King's, Mr. Gabbert held several sales
leadership positions for Universal Electronics, including
responsibility for servicing several national accounts.
Effective July 2007, he assumed the role of Vice President -
Sales, where his responsibilities were expanded to include
new market strategies and company solutions. In addition,
Mr. Gabbert supports the sales team in meeting company
growth targets and objectives.
