Our History

Al VanKirk founded King’s Medical Company in 1981 with the purpose of helping hospitals provide better healthcare, while running a business with high standards and integrity. Mr. Van Kirk has an extensive background in healthcare in both the US and Europe.

King’s began operations in 1981 by helping our first hospital partners improve services by providing CT and soon after MRI. In the beginning company sales were primarily to hospitals in underserved markets. These hospitals lacked capital and a large served patient population which were necessary to provide advanced diagnostic services to their patients.

The foundation of the King’s success for 30 years has been innovation. Today, our Business Development programs are innovative and help our partners grow revenue, increase market share, and improve physician alignment. We understand how to build your business – one physician at a time. King’s solutions continue to change as healthcare changes, and we will continue to grow revenue for our partners.
