New Services

Revenues can be increased with the addition of new services.  In Mexico, Missouri King’s hospital (MRI service) partner was losing cancer patients to out-of town cancer centers. King’s was asked to assess the market and propose the most effective means to decrease the outflow. As a result of King’s market research and physician interviews, King’s proposed the addition of radiation therapy. King’s staff proposed the equipment, supervised the build-out, hired the technology staff, created the fund raising campaign, and introduced the service to the public and referring physicians. King’s also provided capital for the project.

New Capabilities

Revenues can be increased through new capabilities.  As CMS began to approve Breast MRI, King’s developed plans and has implemented BMRI at hospital partners. King’s programs include radiologist support, equipment upgrades, technologist training and marketing to referring physicians and patients.
