Hospitals
Serving hospitals with diagnostic imaging enhancements
has been a King’s core competency for over 25 years. Those
enhancements range from technology upgrades, to new
outpatient facilities, to operational improvements that
increase physician satisfaction and hospital revenue.
King’s partnerships are unique to each hospital and are
based upon specific partner goals.
King’s Fee-for-Service (FFS) hospital partnerships have
been successful in over 120 markets. The FFS model,
originated by King’s in the 80’s, enables hospitals to
preserve capital, add or upgrade diagnostic imaging or
therapeutic treatment systems by having King’s acquire the
equipment. Included in FFS, King’s will hire, and train
technologist’s plus provide feet on the street to market the
service to referring physicians and advertising to potential
patients. King’s FFS agreements benefit partners with new
equipment, marketing, daily operations support and the
ability to be more successful in recruiting and retaining
physicians.
King’s joint ventures with hospitals are varied
depending upon partner needs. They often result in a new
outpatient facility. Many hospital patients can be better
served as outpatients and a new location may deter a
competitor from entering the market. King’s has experience
with business structure legalities, compliance and
regulations, site and equipment selection, clinical
expertise and day to day business operations.
