Operations Plan
The Operations Plan includes contributions from five of King’s professional managers. Operations Management oversees the entire site once completed, supporting the effective function of every department. King’s Human Resources department screens and employs all staff for the new service, utilizing stringent guidelines to identify the best candidates for each position. The Clinical Services team interviews final candidates, then trains them on the systems under consideration to ensure optimal skill levels.
Business Development specialists are hired for the site, and their operating costs are allocated. Clinical Services provides technologist training, and field service engineers collaborate to ensure that the modality meets ACR accreditation standards. Billing & Collections professionals evaluate factors such as insurance contract issues, reimbursement rates, payor mix and other payment issues that could impact the proposed service’s profitability.
