Technology Plan
Four of King’s teams collaborate on development of the technology plan. Based on information provided by the Market Research, Sales and Financial Analysis teams, Equipment Procurement begins to investigate the best clinical options for meeting the needs of existing and prospective referring physicians.
King’s leverages its superior buying power to procure equipment at favorable pricing and terms, and our field service engineers evaluate systems, and provide consultations regarding pricing and potential service requirements for modalities under consideration.
Information Technology consults on systems needs, RIS/PACS, and all software, data management and hardware requirements.
Program management begins as the modality is being considered. While
formulating their plan, King’s architects and construction managers consider
several factors including space, shielding, sitting, utility, patient
throughput, comfort and safety issues, as well as any applicable local, state
and federal safety regulations.
